Hmmm... Mixed feelings about this one. I see nothing wrong with a catch dog competition but it sure doesn't seem fair when the hog is in a small arena. Of course the dog will catch him. Doesn't give the hog a fair chance.

I don't think the hog dog rodeos should be banned but instead a few rule changes. Instead of using one hog, use a fresh hog for every dog. Use boars only with minium weight and size cutters. The dogs will be assigned hogs just like real rodeo draws. The catch pin should actually be about a couple of acres with real life scenario obstacles such as swamp areas, thickets, etc.

I have to agree with BobcatJess. There needs to definetely be a weight and size limit and larger enclosures to better simulate real field occurances.
