Getting after some hogs on a buddies place that have churned up some real-estate now that the ground has been soft.. Nice fat sow to go in the freezer.

Hubby and his buddies have been wanting to shoot one and will soon enough but I've been on the fence about him bringing any meat home from one of those beasts.

I encourage you to try it, its delicious and a major staple in our diet, i grind most of them into sausage and get a few chops from some smaller sows. We have replaced hamburger with the sausage in a lot of dishes and added venison burger with it and they are that much more flavorful. Just our experiences.

I'll try it when I can. I like the idea of mixing it with venison.
Hubby has less than one year before he's out of his business then we'll have time to hunt those beasts.
