HOG HUNTING COALINGA AREA

IM STATIONED AT NAS LEMOORE, CA IN THE NAVY. AND IM FROM COLORADO AND MOSTLY AN ELK HUNTER BUT WANTING TO GET INTO THE HOG HUNTS AND MAYBE TURKEY. IVE BEEN CHECKING OUT THE CLEAR CREEK AREA BUT NEVER SEE ANYTHING. ANYONE KNOW OF ANYTHING GOOD OR PRIVATE LAND OWNERS IN THE AREA?

How long are you in Lemoore? I am kind of new to Coalinga and there are people on this board that know alot more then I do about hunting there, but when I was scouting deer on some public property around here I found a few hogs that I am going to hunt after D7 deer season closes in October. You are more then welcome to come if you want.

I WILL BE HERE TO THE END OF NOVEMBER THE OFF TO NEVADA. SOUNDS GOOD KEEP ME POSTED IF YOU DONT MIND.

jpichler I was just in Pacifica visiting my parents.
I hunted two times in the past two weeks and didnt find any hogs and verry little fesh sign. I think the deer hunters might have pushed the hogs out of the places I saw them during archery season. I am going to concintrate on getting a bear for the next month or so then after we get some rain I might be going back after the hogs.

dang Taylor31........sounds like you found a good hog place.........count me in as long as it's not up a steep mountain.
