The one pix with the black hog almost looks like a cow.

Hey Lurediver- I am so impressed with your photoshop work - that and all the posts you guys did was GREAT.
Comic relief after a 2 1/2 day hard hunt here was priceless. Keep up the good work you guys ROCK! Nice placement on the squirrel intestines/ rock shot- Deerslam ???
I think you need to photoshop AS's love shack in my barley/pig field though...

Porch,
Check out their website:

BR,
It seems that the hardest part is drawing the bow without being seen and finding a clear shot with no colateral damage to others.
I am going to practice again before going.
But given the opportunity I will give it my best most serious kill shot.

You know that this post has me thinking about those prime archery wallows too!

We'll see how it plays out, your the boss.
So I'll go with your instincts and directions.

I may have to book a future hunt while I'm up there.

i've been a little confused on how hunts with BHR worked. i think it might have been because i've heard it mentioned with FHL a lot.

so let me get this straight.
you can stay at the resort (rent the cabin basically) and hunt FHL, which is close.
but you can also hunt on private ground through BHR (through the guided hunts they offer) correct? or do they guide on FHL too?

Sounds like you're lining 'em up, Deedy! Glad to hear the critters are there. Thought I'd have some "spare" time to run down there this weekend, but hadn't thought about the fact that it's Easter.

Some time soon, I hope...

Hi everybody, just to clear up any confusion.. I am a licensed guide and outfitter, and own a hunting resort right around the corner from Fort Hunter Liggett . I have private guided hunts- which are on my private land only available through a hunt package at Bryson Hesperia Resort (me). Then I also do private guided tours which focus on Fort Hunter Liggett & LPNF, which basically consist of a pre-hunt tour for Hunting Liggett or LPNF (Las Padres National Forest). You can rent cabins anytime - they are by the night- you don't have to hunt at all. Hope that clears any confusion up.

Open door buddy, as always, Deedy... Bring all your toys...

Billrob- the birds don't care when you draw, nice birds, haven't been "picked on" isn't that right Lucky-? Luckyshot and I stalked them to 15-20 yards. He stood up and shot, they didn't seem to mind - well maybe that tom did a little ...
Very nice birds, we are blessed. You'll see though when you get here what you want to do- You are the boss- not me- we have lots of options.
