Once upon a time in Texas there was humans that were destroying the forest. The forest boar god was very angry and gathered his solders to wage a war on the humans. He gathered all his little piggies and painted war paint on there face. The humans knowing that the Pigs were waging war on them, called the national gaurds. The national guards came and set up camp. They started cutting down trees to get the boars made, so they came full charge at the humans. The humans who had a trap for these boars shot them with there machine guns. The boars did not stand a chance agianst these manging humans who wanted to destroy there land for building more city. The humans came from behind with tanks and Specmister and Birddawg came from the sides killing all the pictures. As you can see the picture shows the scene after the war. The humans gathered up all the boars and are about to burn them. Sad story.

Looks like a promo shot for the sequel of the helicopter pig movie we saw a month ago. Pigs didn't have a chance.

I know of the serious damage they can cause to a landowner but I sure do hope there is a brighter side to that picture for some hungry family.

I noticed they're not dressed out and it's sunny outside. I sure hope they weren't left to rot.

I have inlaws in Texas that farm peanuts. To them pigs are nothing but vermin that should be eraditated by any means possible. They don't even eat them any more, except to BBQ a small one once in a while. They have have enuogh that it's not considered sporting, just killing. Bzz I don't remember hearing you talk about hunting them. Is that the way a lot of people look at it down that way?

I am just pointing out the location. You guys have a real problem down there and I wish I could help out. Up here our public parks are being destroyed by pigs and they will not let us do a thing about it. http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/index....showtopic=68954

no offense pigig.. just did not know what you meant..

gc4279.. there is a lot of truth to what you posted.. Although most of what we kill we try to give away, sometimes that is just not possible.. Also, they multiply a heck of lot faster than we can eradicate them. The damage that a group of hogs can do is unbelievable and they are not tolerated at all and shot on site.. Problem is most of them feed at night.. but, that is what the dogs are for!

Good thing is we are just a lot smarter than these guys and do not take pics and post them all over the web....

pigig.. your best bet would be to look around San Antonio.. Only about 1 hour from Austin and lots of hogs.. You can go to www.texasboars.com and look around and see what you can find. We are going to have too many dove hunters and bow hunters out, so probably cannot get much access to the ranch until after the first of the year when deer season is over...

Pigig.. There used to be a member on here named HEATHEN.. He was from around the San Antonio area I believe and hunted a lot of hogs down there. He has not been around in a good while, but you might be able to e-mail him and see what he has going on. He might be able to point you in the right direction for finding something in that area...

This was a "Vermin" eratication kill from a heli. This was also a state endorsed and monitored kill. These hogs were tearing up a 6000+ acre ranch so bad. This was also a hunting ranch. Texas Parks and Wildlife endorse's the eratication of these hogs as they compete with deer and other animals for vegatation and food. They destroy the crops and land blah blah blah

Alot of Meat processor's won't take wild hogs in anymore because of desease's and the FDA regulations etc... I believe that I read this pile of pigs was burned and burried.

They also do these types of kills for yotes.
