I was wondering if anyone knows of some horse rentals around the salmon, North fork Idaho area? we don't need a guide, just horses and mules.
Most of these guys are getting The Elk in places I can hike into, but very leary about wanting to pack and elk out being 5 miles in or so.
I have heard of ranches that will rent them by dropping off the horses at your camp, food, saddles etc... for about $100 per horse for a week.
any ideas or info is appreciated.
