Well big hogs are great for photos, and if you like sausage :) But the little ones make some great pork chops and from what I hear are all around better eating :) Im not quite sure where Hoss Hogs operate out of, but I can suggest a place to go that on public land. I went a couple years ago, and I cant remember how we got there, but it was a place called "Condon Hills" and those were the biggest pig tracks I have ever seen, only problem was that they all were leading into a really thick section of brush that we couldnt even crawl into.

Yes, Hoss Hogs has some VERY big hogs running around that property. Unfortunately, the only "big" hog we saw was across the canyon from our stand (still on the ranch). For some reason, that weekend nothing seemed to be moving much except for the smaller pigs. Dont know why, but just seemed to work out that way. But to answer your question, there are some VERY big hogs roaming around out there.

Yes,

the smaller hogs are braver and run around all over the place there. But like Mikey's pig (pictured above), the big boys come out every so ofter. My buddy went there a few months ago and shot a freaking monster. One night while on a stand, just before I was about to climb down, the largest pig I have ever seen in my life trotted by. They are there, but they are smart and elusive... just like all pigs I guess.

I have a trip planed there for the first weekend in June..:pig-laughing:
