Hey you guys,

I was out last night trying to get a picture of a 21 inch 4 point I've been seeing and I ran into this hog.. He's OLD!! They usually run off, but this thing was tired and lazy..and maybe a little stubborn.. He didn't know if he wanted to run away or run me over..Thank God he chose the first one. How much do you guys think he weighs? I shot a 225 pound boar a few years ago and this one seems bigger.

Hard to say size wise, but big enough to put into the freezer.

Where was your tag and rifle?

Pig hunting is year around.. All you need is a tag and permission to hunt them, since 95% of them are on private land. I don't have access to hunt this property, just photograph.. I probably wouldn't have shot him anyway.. After the big one I got a few years ago I promised myself I wouldn't kill a big one again.. The meat sucked and I had to cut him up in the field for a pack out.. Never again! What a nightmare! Not to mention, they are pretty damn ugly:)

It is hard to say, but he does not look that big in the pictures. I wish there was something to scale him. He looks like he is just shy of 200 lbs.

Based on the size of his sack, I would guess 256 pounds (thats how much I weigh)

Great photos...
Without something in the picture to use as scale it's hard to judge. It doesn't have "large" tusks showing and it's male nuggets are not protruding very far(hanging). I would guess 125-150lbs. Either way it's a shooter in range...

Umm... dude. Clean those glasses and take another look at photo 1. Those ain't butt cheeks!

Without something for scale, I won't guess much past the 200# mark, but that is one NICE hog.

Specks are clean...
I mean no disrespect or am I trying to put any judgements on the quality of the posted photos, but IMHO...
Most "large boars" over 250lbs, that I've seen, have nuggets that protrude out quite a bit more than the ones in that photo. Also most "big boars" that I've seen have tusks that protrude beyond the bottom lips up, so as to be seen easily by eye.
Just my two cents...
