So let me see if I have all this straight
Best opportunities first few minutes of legal light
and the last few minutes of legal light
if you know where they are bedding get in there in the dark
get still and quite and wait for them to come to you.
If you cant get there in the dark it is best to wait and sneak in
later in the morning when they are good and a sleep and POP them in their beds
and If they are pink with a red collar and rubbing on your leg without a permanent
ID marker you could legally shoot it but all but the Hard core Hunter said they would pass
on shooting it.
What else ? I think that covers it?

Other than the morning/evening being the best time, I have not seen a repeated pattern of movement. Some days they go one place and then the next another. I see they visit the same area but not always the same time or the next day. I have sat at the same trail at sundown 3 nights is a row, nothing. I then go back and sit a week later and on that night, here they come. For me it is a numbers game, and being at the right spot at the right time....My best tool is the game cam to try and see what times and days they are around and then hit that spot as much as I can. Once I do shoot one, I will leave that area for at least a week or two before I go back. If I do hike to try and find them, I have noticed that if I get one up from sleeping, he will get up look around for a second or two and then blast out of the area. It is in that one or two seconds that I have been able to be successful.
