CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Dove season opens on Saturday, Sept. 1, and the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) is concerned about misinformation that has surfaced in some southeast Missouri media outlets. A Missouri citizen wrote and distributed an article stating that hunters could legally hunt in two states on the same day and fill both hunting limits on doves. This is in conflict with Missouri laws, according to the MDC.
