Hey guys,

I am new here and just getting into hunting in general. I've been over to the Big Island hunting before, but the Mauna Kea Forest Reserve is going to be closed to mammal hunting for MLK weekend, and I am going to Hilo that weekend to visit family. Anyone have a good spot they'd be willing to share over there? I do have a 4X4 over there to use.

Greg

BTW, anyone know where the pigs are on Oahu? I have seen plenty up above Waianae, but I no longer have a 4X4 here. I'm going to try the Hauula Forest Reserve soon... I'll let everyone know what I see.

Saw plenty of signs of pig up in the Hau'ula reserve. My buddy was getting bit up by the bugs, so I didn't get to stay too long, but it looks like a promising spot. If anyone else hunts there, I'd like to hook up with them and try it again.
