DALLAS, Texas- Texas hunting and fishing outfitters are reeling after receiving letters from the state Comptroller's office. In the July 11 issue of Lone Star Outdoor News, available for downloading Friday at http://www.lonestaroutdoornews.com, outfitters respond to the claims that they owe hotel occupancy and food sales taxes for the past four years.

Red drum typically have two spots, sometimes a few more. But 650-plus? That's what Amie Clanton of Corpus Christi reeled in off the lower Texas coast. Too bad there are no records kept for the most spots.
