After hunting for geese in such snowy conditions as last weekend, I was wondering how others try to hide in those conditions. Normally I would just lie flat in the stubble, pulling straw over myself to hide. Lying in 6" of snow in the middle of a blizzard is tough, especially for my two boys. Just wondering how  others hunt in those conditions and maintain some small level of comfort....

MQ,

Cabelas has white suits with hoods which work great!!!  Spent the weekend in Burney whacking ducks and geese.  Snowed HARD on Saturday and we just sat in the decoys.  Sunday we brought air matresses and a sheet to lay on.  Matress keeps you from laying on snow and getting stiff.  Sheet makes matress blend in.  With the suit we just laid on the sheet and shot.

One way you can keep warm is by using propane heaters, hunting tule they are a must.
