<font face="Tahoma">Nice pics of a good looking dog.  I've never seen a chukar in such mild terrain - then I saw the last pic with the pheasant.  Was the action at a hunting club?</font>

It was 1 of many trips to the Antelope Valley Sportsman Club in the High Desert,  Lancaster California. After some hard hunting for  quail and chukar the club is a great treat for Coco! Good Times

Good looking dog and good looking gun. It probably should be retired.

Retire he dog or the gun, Ropes?  Looks like a Japanese A-5, so it's no antique.  Or did I miss a square-butt Belgian along the way?  

The dog looks happy.... doesn't look too old, though.

1942 Remington Model 11 U.S. Army Issued.It was my granddads and I inherited it 1 1/2 years ago. He used it for upland game hunting on weekend passes.It has now been retired !!!!      OH....Coco is 2 yrs old he has a lot more hunting before retirement
