Well I took my 8year old son hunting today,it was the opener of firearms season.
A button buck came up on us so I shot it,the boy was so excited,one minute he was freezing,the next thing he said while i was feild dressing the deer is he wasnt cold anymore,LOL.
Normally I let the babys walk,but if you are hunting with a young child remember that all deer are big in thier eyes and taking a deer when they are with you is very important to insuring that they grow to continue the heritage of hunting.
I was tickled that he was tickled,Its a great sport, pass it on down.
