The LeadSled is dead. Doesn't provide sufficient give to handle the biggest bore rifles and can crack a stock plus i wanna be able to shoot a semiauto w/ a magazine and a large loop lever gun (like this 45-70 Govt I just picked up).

Now I am not looking for a $700.00 rest, just something better than the plastic crap Caldwell puts out that will allow me to firmly stabilize the rifle with lots of adjustibility for various size guns and adjust for serious elevation.

Great pig/bear gun but it's a pain to sight in! I have a 450 Marlin Guide gun. I don't shoot it much and when I do it's never from a bench. I'd rather be standing to absorb the recoil.

It's a bear gun for scouting season. Iron sights, 5.8lbs, tried to hit a coyote at 30 yards with S&W 329PD and realized I needed something better. The yote is still laughing at me. These look interesting: http://www.bullsbag.com/category_s/111.htm

Well after talking to a scout sniper I went ahead and pulled the trigger on a MOLLE-X7 Shooting Rest Complete SYSTEM (7 Bag Set) from Uncle Buds. The guy said that he's shot off every type of platform but consistently got his best groups using the X7. We'll see.
