The outcry over Rex Rammell`s escaped elk last summer is provoking lawmakers to rethink Idaho`s laws on elk ranching and controversial "shooter bull" operations.

Good it is about time...for me shooting pened animals (for "sport") is unethicial...Plus there is a great risk for transportation of disease (CWD in WI is linked to a deer rancher)...and for hybridization...Many domestic elk have some red stag genes in them.
