I just heard that the bill (SB1221) has been amended, and as a result it may be going back to the Senate, which means you need your members to call Senator Tony Strickland, and Senator Bill Emmerson and just tell each of them to oppose the bill, that there are 10's of thousands of you who will make it your life's work to make sure they don't get elected to anything. We have a chance to kill this bill, but we need to rally the troops and gear up for war starting tomorrow morning at 8 AM. Godspeed, Tim

No replies its either there not calling or they are just passing the buck, because HSUS is out to stop all hunting so it should be no issue for anyone to stop this bill if they want to continue to hunt. Regardless if you hunt with or with out dogs. Next they will stop hunting with bird dogs. California is one of the most Anti' hunting state. Hsus is behind this bill I saw them there every time I go to Sacramento since this spring and the last few weeks.

Talked to Mark Hennely today, he used to be with COHA and now is with CWA. Mark was in Sacramento getting ready to meet with Browns staff. He said Brown should give us a fair shake since his dad hunted and his has hunters around him now. Sept 10 is the earliest Brown can sign the bill Mark said. Mark also said what can sink us is HSUS getting more of their people to email and call the Govs office. Please take the time to call or email on this one.
