Well I went up and checked out the blue oak campsite. Should have taken a couple of trash bags instead of my rifle. Looked like somebody had a war at one point(literally hundreds of shot shells), not to mention all the other stuff I came across. Only pig sign I came across was some old scat(more interesting to me was the undamaged 45 slug I found lying next to it). After wandering around for an hour I went up to the boat launch to talk to the guy at the store. The res is down to approx 50%. He didn't KNOW anything but he was real freindly and willing to share what he had HEARD. Next time up I will check out the other end.

I have hunted the Indian Valley Res. for many years now and I would not reccomend it to anyone who does not hunt hogs with dogs. The brush is far too thick for the most part to have any likelihood of a successful spot and stalk hunt.
