A friend just called to ask about our hog hunting trip tomorrow. I cant remember if a ten round clip is legal or do we need a 5 rounder?

I actually thought you could only have 3 rds in even the rifle, but that just pertains to the shotgun.

Don't know if I should post this or not (sense according to previous posts it is illegal), but I took old Rancho pig hunting one time. He couldn't beleive my method of take. I just gave an old boar my ugly look and it fell over dead. Rancho decided to try it, but it didn't work to good. Rancho's ugly look tore the meat up so bad we couldn't even use his pig for sausage.

Thanks guy, just got back from 2 days of hunting. It was one of those last minute quesitons that my buddy had asked before we went on his first hog hunting trip. He got a M1A 308 and it came with a big ol clip and I wasn't up on the rules. We dont really need it but we were hunting his property and had five tags between us. We would not hesitate to "thin the herd" if the op. was presented. We did take a 300 plus pound pig of the property a few months back that took mulitple rounds to stop so you never know. The ten round clip wasnt used though just a fiver.
