Jan. Tejon hunt...need some help

I have been trying to find loaded but unleaded (Barnes) rounds everywhere since I commited to this hunt. Can anyone help out? I've gone to or contacted Cabellas, Bass Pro, Turners, Sportsmans Wharehouse, the wholesalers for the 2 sporting goods shops in town and Barnes,via the internet. Deadducks has tried a good portion of the sporting goods and specialty Gun shops in Orange County and everybody is back ordered with no due date known. We are looking for 130gr. .270 rounds, 150 or 160gr. 30.06 rounds light 7mm rounds and the impossible; a box of 130gr. .270 win. short mag. rounds. I am sending in our applications on Dec. 26 and would like to know where to find some by then but I guess that I can wait until mid Jan. before canceling out of the hunt. You can find the bullets, just not the loaded ammo. Thanks....hronk

I'm a little surprised Cabelas can't help you at least with the -06 and .270 ammo.

Bob, I ordered barnes 30-06 from cabelas and cheaper than dirt in the past. Here's a link to the Federals in 30-06. I couldn't tell if they were in stock or not though. You want to call them and see.

I have 2 and half boxes of Federal 30-06 165 grain TSX right now. If you need some let me know and I can get them too you for the hunt and you can replace them later, can't help ya on the 270 though. Just give me a holler.

Check out Gamaliel and Midway USA. They are indicating on their websites that the ammo is available. Pretty expensive stuff!

Bob, the local gunshop here has it. Let me know if you want me to pick up a couple boxes and ship it up to you. He has 130gr .270 and 165gr .30/06. Not sure about the mag stuff but I can check.

i was just at the bass pro in rancho this afternoon they had 06,300 win mag and the 270 on hand when i was there today
