So here it goes, i've decided to put in for some lifetime tags in AZ (Sheep/ Elk) which means i'll be buying an Az license for quite a long time. With that being said i'd like to do some Javelina hunting with Pops who has a place in Yuma. I am looking for insight into areas close to Yuma that would be an OTC tag, or really any insight that you gents may have. Please feel free to send me a message if you prefer.

Happy Hunting,

M.V.

Go to the AZ Fish and Game web site to see what left over tags are available. Could be very limited. You can then compare the areas with the harvest stats they publish. The farthest west area I've taken Javalina is 36C, which is obviously way east of Yuma. Talk to the regional DFG office and they might be able to point you in the right direction. If your already going to build points for elk and sheep you might as well add deer and antelope to it. Better to start building the points then to realize the opportunity lost by not.

Thanks for the info boys, I'm just looking forward to getting in the field more and it's sure nice to have another reason to do so in the spring. I'm leaning toward 36C, seems like ranches are open to hunting, certainly a new feeling being from the private land "don't Trespass" arena of CA
