I'm looking for an area in AZ to hunt javelina in January 2006. I've hunted the San Carlos Reservation for a few years awhile ago and had pretty good luck, but it seems that it's just not producing the way it used too. What are some good areas to hunt with a bow that doesn't require anything special like an atv or draw area? I'm driving from So. Cal so somewhere not too far would be nice. I can scout prior too and hiking is not a problem for me. I just don't think that harvesting a javelina should be that much work, but I've done it before and sometimes these damn "ghosts" don't get the respect they deserve. If you want to keep it private you can email me at thechoister@gmail.com Thanks for any help! Please remember, strictly bowhunting for me, no disrespect to firearm hunters.

Send Coues an email. He will give you some great info for a reasonable fee.
