Paul has picked out a great topic for us this month. This month's contest will revolve around "Roads". They can be roads from your community, country roads, dirt/gravel roads, lumber roads, neighborhood streets, busy highways, or scenic routes.

This contest will run until Sat, Dec 30, 2005. At the end of this period we will vote and the winner will be awarded a lens cloth and either a memory card reader or a memory card, from the JHO Store, courtesy of Jesse.

Please reference the JHO Photo Contest Rules and Procedures.

Submit all photos into this thread, if you have any questions, you can email me or post a question in a thread.

lets see your roads!

Here's my entry...it is a picture that I took at the Mojave Preserve a few years back while I was scouting for deer. I messed around with it and decided that it looked best on my wall in black and white in a black frame. I just scanned it. I have the color one somwhere, but not sure where

Guess I'll throw this one in. Not much of a road left. From my post on 12/9.

E-6,
I'm wishing for a digital camera for xmas. I was considering the kodak Z760, but since I seen you post some nice pics from the S5000 I have been looking into them online. I found some refurbished at around $220.00 I'm just wondering if it would be worth it and be a better all around camera. I like the features for the price.
Thanks!

I have had mine for 3 years now this Xmas. I remember we paid $450 for it then. I have looked at the newer versions of this camera but can't justify the price. I would say if you can pick one up for that price grab it. The S5000 has every function you could ever want.
Good Luck and Merry Christmas.
