OK, so it's getting to that time. We have the first weekend in June (3-5) reserved for JHO on the South Side at Tejon. Unfortunately, the hunting show season started and Barbara wasn't able to get me the apps before hitting the road.
But that's not gonna stop us from getting started.
This is going to work pretty much like last year. Please read the directions carefully. Then read them again. Your error could cost you your hunt.
There will be NO RESERVED SPACES. The first 50 hunters who HAVE PAID AND CORRECTLY COMPLETED APPLICATIONS ON FILE WITH ME will get in.
Please note that I want to give preference to JHO members, but we will take non-member hunters. However, please limit this to one non-member per member. I trust that we're all grown-up enough to keep this honest, and I think this is a very fair requirement. If you have more than one non-member who wants to join in, then get them signed up. It's free, and we'll all benefit from expanding the community.
To receive an application, please use the email link on this post to send me an email containing the following information FOR EACH HUNTER:
Your full name.
Your JHO Handle.
Your mailing address.
Your phone number.
As soon as I get the new apps from Barbara, I will begin sending them out in batches like I did last year to everyone on the list. I'll try to turn them around as quickly as possible, so everyone will have a fair chance to get in.
REMEMBER! Sending in your mailing info is NOT RESERVING A SPACE. It only gets you an application.
When you receive the app, you will want to fill it out completely and carefully. Return it to me with a signed and completed pig tag, along with a $400 check made out to TEJON RANCH. As I said last year, if you make the check out to me, I'll thank you kindly for the donation to my hunt.
There is also an insurance form. You will complete that and send it, along with a check made out to Boggs Insurance, as per the instructions on the form. This is a little different this year, and you will send everything to me.
This post will be pinned and locked to the top of the Hog Hunting forum. I will also start a thread on the Events Forum. to begin the discussion and planning for this hunt.
