Free public event on Aug. 20 will run from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.




CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – It’s time for ruby-throated hummingbirds to gear up for their annual fall migration to Central America. That means it’s also time for the annual Hummingbird Celebration at the Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center in Cape Girardeau on Saturday, Aug. 20.

The free public event will run from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. and include banding of hummingbirds, interactive informational displays, presentations and other activities of interest to young and old alike.
