June 7th-9th Pig hunt results

I was hoping to have the pictures to post before I gave the results of my last hunt at the beginning of June, but no luck yet. So I'll just say that 6 guys took 7 hogs over the 3 day hunt, all with Archery equipment only! I'll keep you in suspense till the pics come in. Hopefully they came out good.

No, this was a hunt at my ranch in Hollister. I'm puttin the pressure on to get the pics by tomorrow.

Bigtusker, I'm currently looking for a better broadhead for pigs...What are you and the other six successful hog hunters using these days?? Thanks for your help.

One of the guys uses 100 grain Interlocks. I'll check with the other guys and post more info later.

Cahunter - Chopper (Big Tusker) no longer does rifle hunts on his ranch. Archery only. Bummer, too - because I would love to go back!

BigTusker, you need to check the size of your pics. I am pretty sure the limit is 150k and 640 pixels.

Hey Chopper,

How's the summer hunting over at your place? Besides Hot, I mean

You lay low during the heat, or is the hunting still pretty happening?

It's hotter than hell!!
I hunted yesterday for blacktail and hogs. Got busted by a forked horn at about 45 yards. He pinned me when I got to a big oak. Stuck my head out from behind the tree and he was staring at me. Over the course of the day, I saw probably 60 to 70 hogs. I had a group of about 12 at about 40 yards, nocked and at full draw, a small boar(50 lbs) came out from behind a bush at about 20 yards, saw me and blew out of there taking the rest with him.
