Well, another month has gone by, anyone want to shout out a suggestion for this month.

I have 2 in mind...since I have seen several good bird pics lately maybe that is good for this time of year...

Another topic I would like to see sometime is a sort of before and after thingy. You would post the raw photo then post the final after some 'darkroom' work. I know there are lots of changes one can make to images, it's nice to learn this stuff through example.

So, whatta ya say???

Here's my countribution for June. Taken at the Little Rock Zoo. Not sure what type birds these are but they werre quite cooperative for me. The first bird was pretty close. The second one was taken at almost full zoom (10x) up in a tree.

And as usual nice pictures so far from everyone else this month.

GHog,

The first one is a Mandarin Duck.

The second looks like a Roseate Spoonbill.

Nice captures!

This first one is a dove nesting at the end of the house on an exposed beam. Taken with the oly c-740 at full zoom.

This one was taken at the San Diego Zoo with my new Canon 300D. I can already see I'm going to be buying another lens soon. Taken in auto, for now, with the 18-55mm lens.
