I was out scouting / hunting a local spot for hogs the other day and came across this. I just wonder what kind of low life would do something like this. What kind of person, notice I did not use the term sportsman, would shoot what appears to be a heavy / wet sow, drag her about 250 yards up a hill with what looks like bailing twine in her hind legs, not field dressed, just to let her lay beside the road to rot. Probably the brother of the trail camera thief. It is people like this that give true sportsman a bad name. If you are the killer, and frequent this forum, PLEASE STOP ! You do not belong here or any other place like this, and you do not belong out in the field. It is idiots like this that give true sportsman a bad name. No animal deserves this type of treatment.

If you ARE the one, look out. I may meet you in the field and through casual conversation, fine out. You do not deserve the right to hunt. You do not deserve the right ruin hunting for others that frequent the area. STAY THE HELL OUT ! ! !

Sorry for the ranting, it just isn't right and it pi**es me off...

Yeah that sucks. I am sorry for us all as this is what makes others hate us. Just remember that is not hunting and not who we are.

I'm taking a closer look at the picture now...I don't see a tag on it, so it is definately an illegal kill.

LKN4HOG,

Was this hog found in an area surrounded by public property? Any private ranches in the area that you know of?

RIFLEMAN, I found this hog on public land. It is close to some private places but it is wide open. As you can tell, there is a certain amount of "trash" dumped in places, but you just about find that everywhere somebody thinks they can get away with it. The pig population is small, the yotes are abundant. If I find out more, I will let all know. Still pi##es me off when I think of it. I am going back this weekend to look some more.
