Yep, I did it.  On my first attempt at a trail cam I shorted something around the flash unit.  Now all the camera does is open shutter, and wind the film takeup reel.  Surely I'm not the only nimrod to have done this.  Does anyone know how/if I can fix this?

everytime I see the Post with the Ka-Pow heading I have to laugh.....

I had a TV repair shop for 10 years and had a lot of parts blow up in my face.  The funniest and worstest was when a cap blew up and I jumped back 10 feet in surprise, then broke out in a loud, hysterical  laugh, then lost my breath from muslce spasms in my back from the shock.....had to lock up and go to the chiropractor...not so funny then,   ha ha,   little funnier how tho
