Are they just good for jerky? I'm seriously curious as I've never heard of these being hunted and consumed.

Thats the only way I'll eat crane......Also not to keen on duck or goose either,so I make them all into jerky....Yes they are great eating for jerky...I grind my meat up,add seasonings and use the jerky shooter on them-works great,tastes great..........(I've also mixed the three together too for jerky)....Good luck on the hunt.
