This was a guided hunt on private land near King City. I shot him on the run at about 150 yards. My 270 definitely stoped this guy but he didn't go down. I was able to get broadside (approx 100 yards) and took him down. I couldn't believe how big his choppers are. I Dropped him off at Wild Life Taxidermy in Arroyo Grande (Mr. Dennis). Can't wait to hang him on my wall. Happy hunting be safe out there.

I saw one medium sized rattle getting some sun on the road. Drove right past him. Those things freak me out. I usually wear snake gators but forgot them this trip.
