Group of guys came into the store while I was working tonight were out for the first time. They were from L.A. and came up to Clear Creek to try for a hog. Tried to give them some advice and sent them this way when they get home. Thought some of you Southerners could turn them on to some better more local spots so they don't run out of gas again. Hope they scored and hope to see them online.

I fill in at the Tres Pinos store in town when someone gets sick or needs a day off. No regular times but a regular spot for guys to grab ice on the way in. Saw a group of two from Saccramento heading back out to find another pig, they had gotten one. And one guy that would have made a classic picture he was clad in cammo, white teeshirt ripped up the front from left pocket corner up to the arm pit and back down. He stated that it's not his normal fasion sence but found himself in the bush haveing to relive himself without any TP. Funny as hell I was having to work real hard not to laugh any harder than I was. No reports of any deer taken yesterday though. Shirt for Toilet paper said he spotted a nice buck at 600 and put down a stalk but never found him again.
