La Panza Bull (junior) hunt

Well, I was coaching my daughters soccer game yesterday morning and one of the dad's is a hunter also and he tells me that his fourteen year old son got the one and only La Panza bull tag this year.I just about cr$#ed myself and couldn't believe it.It gets better,he gets a call from DFG and they say they have the hunt all set up on a huge beautiful ranch in the unit,that was donated to DFG for the junior.Get's better,he was contacted and the hunt will be videoed with none other than Wayne Carlton and will be aired on TV.What a great deal for his son(and father)can't wait to see this one....

Not really,.............................. but that is pretty amazing you must admit.
I've been pretty lucky lately myself, and If it weren't for the bad luck i'd have no luck at all.
But at least I can say I 've had a real string of luck.
Wish the boy the best on the hunt and keep us posted on when and where to look for the show.

Wow, that will be a memorable hunt for that kid...hope he kills a boomer

I'm with you on the luck thing,about 12 years ago I got drawn for the La Panza bull tag.But, when the letter came my buddy got the last tag and I was the number 1 standby.Do you think anyone gave their tag back for me to go,yeah right!!!My buddy shot an 8x7 and I stayed home,grittin my teeth...Still waitin for my Tule tag....

Sounds like he is set up on the Chimineas Ranch. Great ranch house to stay in, swimming pool, etc. And to think that nobody really uses it anymore now that the DFG owns it. Should be a slam dunk deal, they will point him in the right direction. They also have a couple junior deer tags for out there and they get the same set up. Anybody with junior hunters should look into it. There are some BIG bucks out there.
