Headed to the ranch today to take care of a few things and see if any critters were moving after all the recent rains. No more than five minutes of walking and I spot this big boy rooting around in the valley. Wind was with me and ground was wet so no problems getting into position for an easy 100 yard shot with my 270. Nice boar, weighed just at 200 lbs on the hoof and with decent cutters. At the butcher in Lucerne, should make some tasty sausage.
