Any luck yet I'm debating on if i should head out Friday. My buddies went and said its real dry and noisy.

Dry and noisy can be a good and bad thing for hogs. Since they don't hear all that great you can still get close just takes more time, plus makes it easier to hear them since they're loud as heck.

where i was at. the leaves were about a foot deep. i was so friggen loud. and ever step on leaves on a downhill? good lordie, it was like skiing!! i was on such steep hills if i didnt dig my heels in, i would slid down the hill the second my ass touched the ground.

anyone up there yesterday, could have heard me cursing. i fell 8 times. i counted. it was not awesome.

very dry. less pig sign than usual.

I'll be out there this weekend walking through all the noisy leaves. I saw that the map this year shows all areas open to hunt other than the preservation area. I didn't hunt Sonoma last year, but that seems new to me. It used to be hunting was just past homestead camp, right? May be due to the camp sites being closed, that's why it's all open, or it's possible it's all my misunderstanding. I'll probably cruise the shores and look for fresh sign the first day. Hope to slayem'
