Thanks for the reply. I was just wondering why no one was posting about lake Sonoma lately. Have you stuck one yet? Good luck, looks like your on them.

I took and missed a shot at one in a group of five the previous evening. That's why my camera is there now. This is a different group of pigs.
The trap isn't in use. I'm glad about that, it's tough enough getting shot opportunities.

Yep, you really have to work for them that's for sure. I used to hunt it fri-sun every week and only got one pig. I'm going to hunt it the first 3 weekends in January then having knee replacement surgery so maybe again in the spring before it closes. It looks like you in the pigs and will get another chance soon. Good luck and post some pics. when you do.

With the government shut down I don't know what resources and services r down to at the lake but if u can reach someone at the visitor center for info they will tell u recent reported kills and what general area they where harvested from.
I belive there r some YouTube vids posted of some l.s. kills from this season u can check out.
Having a boat is one of the best ways to hunt the lake to get to some prime area's with very little pressure. The lake, The lake, ahhh the lake.........tra
