Laser Genetics ND 3 x 50mm Sub-zero Laser Designator w/ Scope Mount

I was reading some reviews on OpticsPlanet about the Laser Genetics ND 3 x 50mm Sub-zero Laser Designator w/ Scope Mount. One review said it scares the hogs away. I was wondering if anyone has used anything similar for dusk. Thought it could be my flashlight and designator in one instead of buying both or just a flashlight. Thanks ahead of time for any info.
