I have a Beretta 92fs 9mm. This is one shooten hand gun, but I got it in my head to put a laser on it. I have never had a hand gun before with a laser. Has anyone out there in gun land got a laser on a Beretta? If not the Beretta a semiauto of some sort. Please give me some 411 on this laser thing. Its not a carry gun or home def. Just something I havent tried yet.
Thanks Blitzen

I used to have a laser on my Taurus PT-99AC (Beretta clone). It was one of the older, bulkier models that mounted on a rail. Appearance and handling-wise, it was uglier than sin. Shooting it though, was pretty fun. A little tough in full day light, but in low light it was quite entertaining. I've often considered getting a laser again, but more along the lines of the "Crimson Trace" variety that are contained within the grips themselves.

All in all, lasers are nice accessories and not necessary. But they sure are fun and neat to shoot with!

Marine PMI,
I bought a Crimson yesterday at the gun show. A bit pricey. It was either that or pay a bill. You know how it is. I cant wait to go sight it in. I was in the 3rd MAW in the 60s and did a lot of close work with my 1911. Boy I wish they had that sight then. Anyway, thanks for your come back on my post.

Lasers are good for "making bad guys nervous" thats it. remember muscle memory is the key. if try to aquire that dot you will be a slower shotter.
