I'm getting burnt-out on birds... this will probably be it for a while...

I’m guessing these are the same two downy’s from yesterday… talk about being hen-pecked, lol. This poor guy can’t even eat in peace. I don’t know why the image looks ‘painted,’ a few of them have been turning out this way lately (maybe the weather effecting the camera or lens).

I love the way the snow has been bouncing the light around, it gives the birds a pretty cool look IMO.

Close relatives of the very rare Peekaboo dove...

And… a little snow on one of the birdhouses. The snow was twice as high the other day, the wind has blown most of it off (the house is a little over a foot high)…

Thanks Dave, they said on the news that we were supposed get another foot of snow by the morning. It isn't snowing right now but that can change very quickly.
