Lead bullets

My friend and I were talking about lead bullet use in non lead bullet areas. I am sure you can use lead bullets in these non lead areas but you are not able to shoot wild game with them. We also talked about the fine if you got caught using such a bullet. I have heard the fine is a $1,000. Does anyone know if this is true.

In the Condor-Zone, Lead-free is for Big-Game and Non-Game only. You CAN use lead for Upland-Birds and Small-Game. You can also Target shoot with lead all you want

The above is absolutely correct. HOWEVER!! If you possess lead ammunition CAPABLE of taking big game, while in a big game hunting area, EVEN IF IT'S IN YOUR VEHICLE, you can be cited. Unless of course, this has changed. If you have a little .22 and a paper target frame or a bowling pin or something, you're okay.
