Thanks guys, I was very surprised to see them yesterday... It was the first time the temp made it up to almost 40F this year.

I second the "except when I'm out hunting". In the moutntains in Monterey, were we hunt. There tons of them when it is a good acorn year. They will bust you and warn anything else around.
Other than that they are really cool to look at because of the way they slow wag their tail side to side when they are still like they are heavy in thought thinking of something mischievous to do..
