Just wondering what everyone uses to clean their lenses with. Trying to get some new ideas because this liquid junk i bought doesn't seem to do the trick

I use Eclipse optic cleaner on a pec pad and just wipe it down, works pretty well if you don't soak the pec pad.

I use a couple different methods/tools and get about the same level of performance from all. These methods include a micro fiber lens cloth, air duster w/ brush, and pec pads + solution.

One thing to verify is that your sensor isnt dirty. I thought my lens was dirty for the longest time and that I couldnt get it cleaned, until I realized that I had dust on the sensor. (I just posted my before and after shots)

I don't clean my lenses. No matter what you do, you are generally going to leave something behind. I just make sure I keep a filter on it all the time.

To clean my camera ( which gets various bits in it fairly regularly ) I open up the shutter by using the "clean sensor" mode and then turn it with the opening pointing down. Spray compressed air in it for just a bit and then close the shutter back. DO NOT turn the can sideways or it will shoot liquid into your camera! Use a can of compressed air that has a tube attachment thing so you can keep the can in normal position but still spray the camera out real good. So far, this has worked every time.

Everytime I do it, I do a little of this first

Just my opinion but I'd stay away from the compressed air. I've read to many horror stories about the use of it. I'd go with a rocket blower and use the pecpads and solution and live with the results. If the dust is that stubborn, take the camera in and have it cleaned.
