Lens Convexing

I took this pic in the city for a test of why my wife can never hold the camera right. My Objest is straight up in the middle- but check out ant both the left and right sides how the building go in and up. Is this normal? It looks worse than the house my grand-pa built with his thumb outreached from his eye with the other four fingers holding his can of Old Milwakees Best.

I see what you are talking about. I dont think the camera would "lean" everything to the top/center. I would guess that this is probably true to what actually existed and the perspective that you have in relationship to the buildings.
