Leon Lesicka from DWU and his lovely wife at the CDA banquet in San Bernardino tonight. Leon is flying the bighorn sheep survey in east chocolate mtns next week.

He said he has 500 pheasants in the pens to release this fall and plenty of wild ones still running around. He said the DWU fields are gonna change a bit this year due to Sudan Grass going through the roof on price, many of the farmers land DWU leased for dove is now Sudan grass. He also said he's gonna change the numbering on the fields to lateral names like Q2 instead of just a number. Q2 would be on the Q lateral for example. He said fields 13 and 14 by the sewer plant were lost but he's hoping to gain more fields elsewhere.
