Any experiences or have anyone heard anything good or bad about these. I just want something very compact. I am limited to Leupold products, so any opinions appreciated.
This year I upgraded my binos from $10 tascos to the 10 X32 Katmai. Since I use these things for backpack hunting I down selected the Katmai from the Cascade because of the bulk factor. I sampled other brands at sporting good stores and the quick ease focusing, clarity, price and what not left no question that Leupold was the best choice. I was able to sample the Cascade and thought they were really neat, so I ordered the 10X32 Katmai somewhat on faith, and their performance did not disappoint. Other than the weight was a little more than I expected as a backpacker the optics are clear and sharp. Can't wait to use them in the field for D-7 deer season.
