Lifetime Hunting, Fishing Permits Are Perfect

Lincoln, Neb. -- If you are looking for a unique yet practical gift for the outdoor enthusiast on your holiday gift list, why not surprise them with a Nebraska lifetime fishing or hunting permit.

The purchase of a lifetime fishing, hunting or combination permit fixes license fees at current prices and saves the holder the obligation of remembering to buy a new license each year. Once someone has a lifetime permit, all that person has to purchase each year are the specific stamps needed to pursue certain fish or game.

Only Nebraska residents are eligible to receive lifetime permits, but once issued, permits are valid for the life of the holder, regardless of where the holder lives.

Lifetime permits are issued only by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission's headquarters in Lincoln. Lifetime permit prices are: fishing only, $300; hunting only, $260; and combination fish/hunt, $520. The lifetime Nebraska Habitat Stamp is only $260.

For more information about lifetime permits, write to the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission Permits Division, P.O. Box 30370, Lincoln, NE 68503 or call (402) 471- 0641.
