I recently visited a web site called fishersnet.com I found a lake maintained by the angeles county parks system called little rock lake. The phone number provided is a dead one. Can anyone tell me where it is or if it even exists

They're probably referring to Littlerock Dam. It's mismanaged I mean run by the Forest Service. Located a few miles east of Palmdale. It used to be a really nice place to go. Until they shut down half of the lake, access to the creek, and 2or3 campgrounds. All because of some toad. The lake is a mudhole right now and will be until spring. Seems to be a hangout for socal lowlifes and partyers now. If you want to go I recommend(sp) going on weekdays. It makes for a more enjoyable day. Drive a little further and try Jackson Lake. It's near Wrightwood just before Mtn. High. It's a small lake but a lot quieter. Good for float tubin'!!    Scott
