Locks for Bags

Was wondering if we need to use the TSA locks on the bags or do you think go with regular locks? Just wondering as we are debating which to buy.

ACE has 4 like keyed locks for 15 bucks

Lock the case with one, and put an opened lock inside the case with a note asking them to use that one should they have ahd to cut the locks off for any reason.

It's worked flawless for me on several trips and has also worked as well for those I've suggested do the same thing.
