lone pine bull tags

I noticed that most or all the owens valley bull tag quotas are reduced to one this year. ( proposed). the dfg states that hunts with quota of one will be draw by choice. does this mean if a person with 3 points draws that tag do they get to keep their 3 points?. they should get to keep because it is in fact draw by choice. does this make sense to anyone else. Brubo

I don't think it works that way, but I see your point. I guess points don't me squat for those hunts.

If you draw the tag, your points will go to zero. It does not matter if you used your points to draw the tag or not.

Yep if there is only on tag your points are useless

but they still take your points.
